ONGC has invited online applications for apprenticeship training for the 2026-27 batch (Advertisement No. ONGC/APPR/1/2026). The number of seats is 3,047 (tentative and may change): Northern Sector 191, Mumbai Sector 482, Western Sector 1,166, Eastern Sector 674, Southern Sector 269 and Central Sector 267 as shown in the sector table (the work-centre rows of the Southern Sector add up to 267, so recheck in the official PDF). Trades include Library Assistant, COPA, Draughtsman (Civil), Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Mechanic Diesel, Welder, Fire Safety Technician, Accounts Executive, Lab Chemist, Executive HR, Secretarial Assistant, Store Keeper and graduate/diploma engineering apprentices. Training is for 12 months and is not employment. Applications start 29 October 2026 and the last date is 20 November 2026 (may be extended by ONGC). Stipend per month: Graduate Rs 12,300, 3-year Diploma Rs 10,900, 10th/12th trade Rs 8,200, 1-year ITI Rs 9,600, 2-year ITI Rs 10,560.
