Upper age limit: 28 years as on 31 December 2025, with relaxation of 3 years for OBC (NCL), 5 years for SC/ST and 10 to 15 years for PwBD. Pay: Rs 40,000 basic during one year of training (scale Rs 40,000-1,40,000), then Engineer grade E2 in the scale Rs 50,000-1,60,000. Service bond: Rs 5,00,000 (General/OBC/EWS) or Rs 2,50,000 (SC/ST/PwBD). Fee: Rs 500 for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS; no fee for SC, ST, PwBD, ex-servicemen and departmental candidates.
